And did you manage to record in MP3 mode? And if so, what did you do to accomplish that please?

Tapur can record voice as mp3 in vista 64 bit same as 32 bit. You don't need install anything, because Tapur use Mp3 codec of windows media player. But if you want to use lame mp3 codec, you have to install lame mp3 ACM codec.
